I love our town and the beauty that can be found in it. Especially in our fabulous gardens. My favourites are - my mums with its abundance of flowers and overflowing shrubs of many shades and textures. Torre Abbey with Agatha's garden telling the secrets of plants and examples found in her books. My works for this project Poison Garden - Healing or Deadly explores darker shades of glaze and shapes inspired by apothecary and Oyla Baklan's watercolour paintings featured in this exhibition. Together along with the other studio artists we tell a story of plants and trees found in our gardens, local heritage sites and the countryside surrounding us. I’m really excited also to invite you to my studio on Lucius Street for pottery sessions! It’s a relaxed and vibrant space filled with inspiration, where you can unleash your creativity. Whether you want to try your hand at hand-building with clay or give my potter's wheel a go, there’s something for everyone. My main aim is that everyone has fun and they create something unique and wonderful to take home.
